Contemporary cuisine is the exception rather than the rule here in Volterra, so the existence of this modern bistro next to the town's walls is cause for celebration. Order à la carte or opt for one of the five-course degustazione menus (€50) – one is traditional but the other showcases inventive dishes and includes vegetarian and seafood choices. Excellent wine list.
