Drogheria Franci

Montalcino

A perfect example of the sleekly styled wine bar that is trending in Tuscany today, Franci offers a menu that takes more than a few liberties when presenting traditional dishes – think exciting flavour combinations, refined plating and pared-back serving sizes. Seating is in an old drogheria (grocery store) that has been given a modern makeover, or on two outdoor terraces.

There are three stylish but in our view overpriced B&B rooms (€210 to €295) on the 1st floor and a luxury self-catering villa sleeping six (€650) in a building opposite.
