It's difficult to access inexpensive accommodation in Chianti, so the four rooms at this inn come as a wonderful surprise. Though at the budget end of the price scale, they are elegant, comfortable and beautifully maintained. Breakfast is served in the downstairs restaurant, which also serves modern Tuscan cuisine at lunch and dinner (meals €50).
