A member of the Comunità del Cibo a Energie Rinnovabili della Toscana (www.comunitadelciboenergierinnovabili.it), a network of food producers in the Val di Cecina that use the area's renewable geothermal energy in their production processes, this brewpub is a popular local hangout on summer evenings and weekends. Its talented female brewers make eight beers, including the eminently drinkable Geyser Pale Ale.

The on-site kitchen serves snacks such as panini (€3 to €4) and crostini (€5), and beers can be ordered in small, medium and large glass sizes.

Sasso Pisano is 47km south of Volterra, but only 7.5km north of Parco delle Biancane and 24km north of Massa Marittima in Southern Tuscany.
