The gold standard for pastry in Verona is Flego, where you’ll find at least 10 different croissant options every morning, including the divine myrtle-berry croissant, alongside the classic Risino, a typical Veronese cake made with rice. It also specialises in coffee and macarons and, come lunchtime, offers a range of savoury puff-pastry snacks, salads and sandwiches.
