Trapani

What with the giant pasta pictures splashed above the white-tiled open kitchen and the photo-loaded tablet provided alongside printed menus, it's impossible go wrong at this contemporary urban kitchen. Pasta fresca (fresh pasta) is the speciality, stirred through with fresh clams and tuna, wild boar ragout and marjoram-spiced burrata, or red shrimp and pistachio cream.

The creative crudi (Raw) menu includes various types of fish tartare with unexpected pairings (salmon with apple and lime, tuna with basil and Pantelleria capers), marinated swordfish and oysters. Vegetarians are well catered for.
