La Locanda del Postino

Salina

Friendly couple Mauro and Amelia run this whitewashed 10-room hotel, whose main claim to fame is its peaceful end-of-the-line location in the hills above Pollara. The large shared terrace with Aeolian-style columns and full-on views of Filicudi is pleasant for lounging and sunset-watching, though overall value for money is not as great as at other places around Salina.
