Da Salvatore

Top choice in Tyrrhenian Coast

Salvatore Ruvutuso, his wife Maria and two children run this Slow Food–acclaimed trattoria with its summertime sidewalk seating and wonderfully cosy interior dining room. Kick off with a delicious selection of antipasti including frittata, superb caponata and pungent provola delle Madonie, then choose from a daily menu that usually features a rustic pasta, vegetable soup or fragrant stew.

Pizzas are only served in the evening. The restaurant is tucked into a little square near the Chiesa di Santa Maria di Loreto – just follow the signs. Note: no credit cards.
