Bisso Bistrot

Palermo

Frescoed walls, exposed ceiling beams and reasonably priced appetisers, primi (first courses) and secondi (main courses) greet diners at this swinging, smart-casual bistro. Located beside the Quattro Canti, its edible offerings cover all meals, from morning cornetti (croissants) to lunch and dinner meat, fish and pasta dishes (the latter are especially good). Solo diners will appreciate the front bar seating.

Tip: if heading in for dinner, arrive before 7.30pm or prepare for a decent wait.
