Far from the madding crowd that descends on Cefalù each summer, this family-run restaurant in nearby Sant'Ambrogio boasts a relaxed and breezy terrace perched high above the sea. It's a great place to linger over meals of freshly caught fish, tagliatelle alle vongole e cozze (ribbon pasta with fresh clams and mussels), Sicilian appetisers or beautifully presented steaks.
Look for it at the entrance to Sant'Ambrogio village, 7km east of Cefalù, off the SS113 coastal highway.
