B&B Scacciapensieri

Western Sicily

Tucked on the high road above Castellammare, this slightly unkempt Greek-styled villa with whitewashed walls and sea-blue wooden shutters is a peaceful retreat. Sea views from the pool and al fresco lounge are second-to-none and two of the six rooms sport kitchenette and sleep four.

A simple Italian breakfast of boiled eggs, bread, homemade cakes and pastries is served around a shared table, inside or out, and the garden enjoys plenty of intimate spots to lounge in the shade of an olive tree.
