This beloved sweet shop on Castelbuono's main street is the perfect place to stock up on unique foodie gifts. Make sure to try the cubaita, a crunchy nut brittle made with hazelnuts, pistachios and sesame seeds, and oro di manna, an addictively creamy spread made with honey, almonds, hazelnuts and manna – the sweet sap harvested from local ash trees.
Fiasconaro's pasticceria (cake and sweet shop) is on one side of the road and the Fiasconaro cafe is opposite. It's perfectly acceptable to purchase a sweet treat – such as the local speciality, mannetto (manna cake) – at the pasticceria and take it over to the cafe.
