B&B La Mimosa da Rosina Barbuto

A steep walk 100 vertical metres uphill from the port brings you to the salmon-pink home of Rosina Barbuto, who has rented out simple dorm-style rooms on Alicudi for decades. Facilities are ultra-basic but clean, and the tranquil away-from-town atmosphere and sunrise views from the terrace are delightful. Home-cooked dinners (€25) are also available with advance notice.
