Presided over by the meticulous Paolo Kratter, who wears his embroidered leather lederhosen with tremendous style, Mondschein is a stunning restaurant. The fabulous wooden interior is both cosy and elegant and the menu balances tradition and innovation perfectly. The mushroom risotto with a thin layer of bilberry sauce is ingenious. Ask your server to recommend one of their excellent regional varietals.
