Sappada’s Michelin-starred Laite is presided over by Fabrizia Meroi, Michelin's 2018 female chef of the year. It has just 18 seats set in two romantic 18th-century Stube (traditional Alpine restaurant). Each morning ingredients are foraged in the woods presenting wild asparagus, nettles and rare mountain chicory with roe deer, woodcock and cheese from the local dairy. Highlights are the chamois tartare and the trout with mountain herbs.
