Technically not a farm but a masseria (sprawling southern Italian farming estates based on Roman villas), Le Tore guards 14 hectares of olive groves, producing widely lauded olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes and marmalade (among other products). Decidedly off the beaten track, its seven barn-like rooms have terracotta tiles, wooden furniture and plenty of rural appeal.
Children between two and six years of age are offered a 50% discount (30% discount for seven to 10 year olds) if they sleep in their parents’ room. During winter there is also the option of a self-contained apartment.
Dinner is available by reservation and most of the ingredients are plucked from the surrounding pastures.
