With travertine walls, stunning contemporary art and sweeping red-marble staircase, the flagship store of Rome's iconic fashion house inside 18th-century Palazzo Fendi is dazzling. Born in Rome in 1925 as a leather and fur workshop on Via del Plebiscit, this luxurious temple to Roman fashion is as much concept store as maison selling ready-to-wear clothing for men and women.
The clothing range includes Fendi's signature leather and fur pieces. Redesigned in 2016, the flagship store includes a sumptuous apartment to receive VIPs on the 2nd floor, a boutique hotel on the 3rd, and a glittering Japanese restaurant and cocktail terrace bar on the top floor.
