Trattoria Nerodiseppia

Trieste

A simple place that's full of youthful enthusiasm. The menu keeps it simple – fish ragù, fish tartares, risotto with local clams, fritto misto (fried seafood) of both fish and vegetables – but is not afraid to roam further into the Italian kitchen than is usual in these parts. Pesto, aubergine, mozzarella and capers pop up all over the place, adding welcome colour and punch.
