For the city's best table with harbour views, head to Eataly's upstairs osteria. Clean and serene tones and nice use of wood offset the bustle, and the menu manages to be both crowd-pleasing and flawless in execution. Pasta, burgers, steaks, pizzas and a daily fish are done with flair and precision and Friuli's finest (often organic) drops come by the glass.
Book for a window seat, otherwise just turn up early or late for a table.
