Part of the dining room at hillside Montecorvo is tunnelled into a cave, while the verdant terrace offers spectacular sunset views. Owner Giovanni prides himself on the special dishes he makes daily. There's an emphasis on grilled meat and fish, and an especially popular dish of local rabbit, cooked in a woodfired oven.
Despite its sneaky location, hidden amid lush foliage outside Forio, Montecorvo is well signposted along the side street that leads to it.
