Hostel Santa Monaca

Oltrarno


A convent until the 1860s, this 114-bed hostel first opened in 1966 to give shelter to flood victims. It has a great little terrace from which to contemplate the stars on summer nights, well-equipped kitchen, free safe deposits and bike rental. Girls-only or mixed dorms sleep six to 18 and are closed for cleaning between 10.30am and 1.30pm. Curfew 3am; washing machine.
