I Panini di Mirò

Bologna

Friendly Mirò's sandwich skills best his language skills, but he still manages to seduce you with over 50 versions of great-value gourmet panino. Pick your protein (speck, cotto, mortadella, spicy salami and more) and he'll whip it up into something special, served on perfectly crunchy ciabatta bread. His porchetta (roast pork) specialities get their own separate chalkboard (try caramelised onions and pecorino).

It's little more than a glorified food stall, but it's fantastic and cheap – there's even craft beer and wine to wash it down.
