With hand-painted Vietri tiles, high ceilings and the odd piece of antique furniture, the rooms at this friendly family-run place are simple but smart; most have their own balcony or terrace with dreamy views. As with everywhere in Positano, you'll need to be good at stomping up and down steps to stay here – it's 1km east of the town centre.
Property perks include a decent pool and a hot tub (June to October), as well as a small private beach with free kayaks and sunbeds for guests. Breakfast – served on a lofty terrace with sea views – might include scrambled eggs from the family's own galline (chickens). Most rooms have air-conditioning.
