Rothschild Hotel

Top choice in Tel Aviv

Ofra Zimbalista's sculpture of choral singers on the exterior is but one of many whimsical features at this exemplary boutique hotel. Predating Tel Aviv's recent boutique-hotel boom, the Rothschild's decor has worn extremely well, and this place still leads the pack when it comes to service. The in-house restaurant serves what it describes as 'Zionist cuisine with a French accent'.

Refreshingly, this hotel endeavours to recycle its waste and conserve resources, including treating and reusing water for irrigating the garden and Rothschild Blvd.
