Framed by roses and vines, the luxurious Cramim resort lulls guests into total relaxation. Rooms are neutral-toned, calming spaces with broad beds, floor-to-ceiling windows and, in the premium ‘Vista’ rooms (from US$420), wraparound balconies and sleek ovoid bathtubs. Indoor and outdoor (late April to October) pools, wine-tasting sessions (book ahead) and a cafe and restaurant with expansive hill views too.
The resort's wine bar and restaurant are excellent spots to sample major names and local drops. Meanwhile the 2000-sq-metre spa has a full quotient of hammam, Jacuzzi, exercise classes and bookable treatments involving herbs, exfoliants and even wine.
The resort is perched at the top of Kiryat Anavim, a 2km drive from Abu Ghosh.
