Slow-moving nuns, swishing their robes, are your hosts at the sedate, boarding-school-like Saint Charles. Operated by the Latin Patriarchate Rosary Sisters, the guesthouse offers high-ceilinged (if bare) rooms within an 1880 building. Antique tiles and an inner garden add to the contemplative feel, while the shared kitchen and port location round out a good-value package. Curfew is generally 10pm. Cash only.
The gate is often locked – just ring the bell.
