Slane Farm Hostel

County Meath

These former stables, built by the Marquis of Conyngham in the 18th century, have been converted into a wonderful hostel that's part of a working dairy farm. Common areas include a games room and a kitchen, with free-range eggs and a vegetable plot for guests to use. Free bikes are available. It's 2.5km west of Slane.

Self-catering terraced cottages sleep up to six.
