Set over two levels, Liberty has brightly coloured flowers painted on its whitewashed exterior. Freshly made dishes include soups such as spiced lentil and pumpkin or carrot and coconut, hot specials like roast butternut squash, courgette and spinach tart, and open sandwiches, wraps, clubs and toasties (including special toasties for kids). Breakfast is served until noon.
A handful of tables are set up on the pedestrianised street out the front in fine weather.
