Small-batch brews such Carraig Dubh porter and Riasc red ale use hand-drawn well water and botanicals such as elderflower, rosehip and blackcurrants from the brewpub's lush gardens, which are strewn with sculptures by owner-brewer Adrienne Heslin. The 19th-century pub hosts live music and has four guest rooms (double from €65) with private bathrooms, rustic timber furniture and wrought-iron beds.
