With a turret at each end and a long glass-fronted veranda in between, Stella Maris is a charismatic sight. Dating from 1853, it was originally a British Coast Guard station, and later a convent. Today, upmarket rooms combine antiques, stylish modern furnishings and killer views of a lonely stretch of coast. Stella Maris is 2.5km northwest of Ballycastle
