Mehmanpazir Reza

Southeastern Iran

Signed 'Guefd Hufe' in Latin script by a typographically challenged translator, this very basic guesthouse has spongy mattresses on new beds. Walls are slightly stained and the shared squat toilets squeezed into tiny booths – but the location is excellent, the owner friendly and rooms 108 and 109 overlook the bazaar's rooftops. Showers cost IR30,000 extra.
