Hezar Hotel

Southeastern Iran

Barely signed in a residential yet reasonably central location, this low-profile hotel has a 1960s-retro minimalist style. There's a large, rectilinear lounge area and basement restaurant facing a small water feature. Rooms have excellent mattresses and decent bathrooms in two tones of brown marble. Triple and quad rooms are mini apartments (albeit with the kitchenette in the second bedroom).
