Sitting right under the cliffs in the narrowest part of the Harau Valley is Harau Resort (aka Lembah Echo), with its beautiful grounds encroached on by a jungle full of monkeys. It has Minangkabau-style cottages and classy (if dark) rooms with hardwood furniture and hot showers. Little English is spoken.
