Named after the first tea mogul of Java and set in the 19th-century home on his original plantation, this teahouse teems with visitors at the weekend, enjoying the cooler air after Solo. Food is available (mains 10,000Rp to 60,000Rp) and there's a splendid shop attached, selling tea from local plantations and a range of biscuits and tinned boiled sweets from Europe.
Just a pity about the piped music.
