From the unicycle bar stools to the affordable tree house to the free foot massage, and with lots of reclaimed wood, clever signage and weird antiques scattered throughout, this compound is basically a backpacker's dream. There's a path directly to the beach, and it also holds BBQs, Balinese dancing events and beer-pong competitions. Live music happens every weekend.
The staff is very knowledgeable, and the hostel can arrange trips to a bunch of the area's attractions including parks, temples, waterfalls and hot springs.
