Family-run with some Tibetan features to the lobby, this welcoming, clean if somewhat-unsophisticated hotel has stand-and-gasp oblique mountain panoramas from the best balcony rooms (notably 301–303 and suite 201).
Lavender walls are decorated amusingly with photo frames straight from the stationery shop – no photos added. The little cafe serves organic local food. A new luxury annex was under construction at the time of writing.
