Hotel Kishan Palace

Bikaner

An old Bikaner house this hotel was once the home of a colonel of the Bikaner Camel Corps, and is now run by his grandson. Rooms are unfussy and generously sized, but more old and tired than heritage charming. Get a room at the back away from the main road.

The place is festooned with old photos and military memorabilia – check out grandfather’s MBE and watercolours by the Japanese prisoners of war he once guarded.
