Longchen Homestay

Top choice in Nagaland

Just a 10-minute autorickshaw ride (₹200) from Dimapur's airport, Longchen is a great spot to relax, with charmingly welcoming hosts. Four spacious, spotless rooms with broad verandahs overlook the family's rice paddies, and two separate-sex three-bed dorms with bathrooms should be operational by the time you read this. The dinners (₹300 to ₹350, including a spicy Naga option) are delicious.

Ao Yimti village is entered from the 2½-mile junction on the Kohima road, 3km east of central Dimapur.
