Mumbai's best hostel fills four floors of a crusty, can't-miss-it grey-and-pastel-rosé residential building in Colaba, with tiled stairwells and other heritage accents. Four-, six- and eight-bed dorm configurations are spacious and boast air-con and lockers; private rooms are disappointingly simple, but all have fantastic modern bathrooms, a trend seen in the common bathrooms as well.
