MTDC Ajanta Tourist Resort

Maharashtra

This government hotel is pricey but the best option at Ajanta, set amid lawns in a peaceful location off the main road in Fardapur, 5km from the caves. Air-con rooms, in apple green structures, are spacious; non-AC rooms are less interesting but fine. There's a garden and restaurant with veg thalis (₹150 to ₹250).
