Housez 43

Kolkata (Calcutta)

Housez 43 calls itself a ‘value boutique hotel’, and to be fair, it's neat and clean with obliging staff in the shoebox reception area. However, the in-room decor is staid, while the bed-surround boards in the very small basic rooms seem designed to bruise shins. There's an in-house restaurant serving generic Indian and Chinese dishes.
