All alone at the western end of Khecheopalri Village, around 10 minutes' walk from the stupa, this delightful wooden homestay has four attractive rooms with wicker lamps, thangka (Tibetan cloth painting) and comfy beds, sharing one remarkably clean bathroom downstairs, with sit-down flush toilet and giant geyser.
Vegetarian meals are taken communally at a large table, with tongba (millet beer) available around an occasional bonfire. Upstairs there's a charming new meditation room.
