Trattorias

Varkala

Trattorias sounds Italian and does indeed rustle up decent pastas, pizzas and European breakfasts, but the menu is equally pan-Asian and Indian (with seafood platters and Keralan fish dishes) and the food consistently good. This was one of the original places in Varkala with an Italian coffee machine; the sea-facing terrace is cosy and the team attentive.
