This is the erstwhile ruling family’s main palace and is used as a back-up hotel when the Orchard Palace is full. Built in the 1880s and formerly the crown prince’s abode, it's deliciously well worn and adorned with antiques and hunting trophies. Its 11 rooms are like a royal time machine you can sleep in, with river views.
Reserve a room in advance. Meals (₹785) for guests come from the royal kitchens.
