Owned by the House of MG, this intimate hotel has six rooms facing a tranquil courtyard and a mezzanine patio with traditional Gujarati swings. The animal-themed rooms are uniquely decorated using local stencil art; the cow rooms are the most spacious. There are enviable views of the pol (neighbourhood) from the upstairs terrace and the restaurant serves Gujarati fast food.
Just around the corner is a second house with two giant, suite-like rooms (₹6740) featuring marvellous carved woodwork. However, meals are served at the main building and you might feel a little lonely staying here on your own.
