Not part of the upmarket Taj group, this 1924 building nevertheless has a classy, if slightly faded colonial ambience. 'Heritage' rooms have character, but most rooms are modern and located in a functional modern block to the side. It's very convenient for sightseeing and the in-house restaurant is excellent for vegetarian food.
