Litlibær

Top choice in The Westfjords

One of the Westfjord's most atmospheric eateries, Litlibær is a 19th century, turf-roofed hut that's crammed with family photos and memorabilia. The owners were born and raised on this Skötufjörður farmstead and today rustle up tasty heart-shaped waffles with whipped cream and homemade blueberry and raspberry jam.

Look out for the seal viewpoint 1km north.
