Beljandi Brugghús

Top choice in East Iceland

Maybe every tiny town should have a microbrewery. Especially when it's as genial as this one. Opened in 2016, this brewery and bar has free samples of its concoctions: the signature Beljandi is a pale ale, but there's also Skuggi, a porter, and Spaði, an IPA. The bar area hosts occasional events (live music, big-screen sports) and the chance to imbibe more options.

Opening hours can be erratic, so it pays to check (via Facebook or a phone call).
