Kéhli Vendéglő

Óbuda & Buda Hills

Self-consciously rustic, Kéhli has some of the best traditional Hungarian food in town. One of Hungary’s best-loved writers, the novelist Gyula Krúdy (1878–1933), who lived in nearby III Korona tér, moonlighted as a restaurant critic and enjoyed the Kéhli's forró velőscsont fokhagymás pirítóssal (bone marrow with garlic on toast; 990Ft) so much that he included it in one of his novels.
