Gerlóczy hits the mark with an excellent combination of good value, decor and atmosphere. Set over four floors of an 1890s building on an attractive little square, the 19 individually designed and well-proportioned rooms all have king-sized beds. The winding wrought-iron staircase and domed stained-glass skylight are wonderful touches. Staff run the popular cafe and brasserie on the ground floor.
Of the 19 rooms, two have balconies overlooking the square and four are in the attic with exposed wooden beams.
